According to Page Six, MADONNA opens up in the upcoming issue of Interview magazine about her young son she adopted from Malawi in 2006. "He wouldn’t have lived if I hadn’t taken him," she says of DAVID. "It’s not even a possibility."
She says that her daughter LOURDES even came with her to David’s home country.
"She spent several weeks working in the orphanages, particularly one with newborn children, and most of them were HIV-positive," she says. "She so came into her own and was so responsible and stayed for eight hours every day and worked tirelessly. I thought, ‘Why am I babying her so much?’ She’s capable of so much more. We don’t let kids do anything. We think, ‘Oh, they’re kids — they can’t take care of other kids, they can’t do this, they can’t do that.’ And after you go to Africa, you drop all that silliness."

What would it take for you to help your daughter? In my experience, most parents help there kids for free, or maybe a small monthly rent charge. However, Jamie Spears is being paid $2,500 a week to be the conservator to (daughter) Britney Spears’ estate. He’s also allowed to lease one vehicle. The attorney that helped Jamie, Samuel Ingham, who is co-conservator to the estate is being paid $58,000.
Clearly, attorneys must be paid. But a father, paid to care for his daughter’s estate? Who’s paying? Britney? Whether or not it’s “helpful,” it sounds like a bum rap to me.

Turns out that Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, is still in charge of her fortune and her estate. His reign, as it were, will continue through July 31, although it was initially supposed to end March 17. However, Britney’s not upset by the continued control of her father.
Not only has Britney been able to visit with her boys several times since Jamie gained control of her estate, but the visits are expected to continue. I guess we’ll see, won’t we?
