BRITNEY SPEARS‘ dad JAMIE and her lawyers are expected back in a Los Angeles court today to address the issue that they believe MARK VINCENT KAPLAN, the lawyer for Britney’s ex KEVIN FEDERLINE, is charging his daughter too much, according to People.
Sources tell the magazine that Britney’s new custody attorney, STACY PHILLIPS, will argue a $500,000 bill from Kaplan as well as a $600,000 tab from the pop star’s former attorney SORRELL TROPE.
It was ruled last week that Jamie will remain Britney’s co-conservator until July 31.

Pop diva Mariah Carey has revealed she’s terrified of mothered - but definitely wants to start a family in the future - when she is in a position to fully devote herself to a child.
The ‘One Sweet Day’ singer, said: “Obviously having a kid is a commitment for life.
“I really would have to be very, very positive that I was in a place where I could completely focus and put everything into the job of being someone’s mommy because it’s hard enough to have a puppy.”
The 38-year-old singer - who is currently dating record boss Mark Sudack - also spoke about fellow singer Britney Spears and her current woes, saying she feels for the troubled star - who’s currently in the middle of a bitter custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline - but insists she would never follow the Toxic star’s seemingly destructive path. Troubled singer Britney Spears was nearly evicted from her Malibu, California home last month, after falling two weeks behind on paying her rent. Spears, who is currently fighting her ex-husband Kevin Federline for custody of their two children, reportedly failed to pay her $35,000 rent and a $2,100 late charge.
