British actress Emma Thompson has launched a desperate legal battle to prevent the deportation of her ‘adopted’ son. The Oscar-winning actress, along with husband Greg Wise, informally adopted Rwandan refugee Tindyebwa Agaba after he was introduced to them at a Refugee Council party in London in 2003.
Pete Doherty to work with drug addicts

Rocker Pete Doherty is set to work with young heroin addicts for a new TV show, it has been revealed.
The ‘Babyshambles’ star, 28, will be paying a visit to some of North England’s toughest council estates where drugs really do destroy lives.
Drug-addled Pete - who has previously checked into rehab to battle his own drugs demons - will reportedly stay with families on the Langley Estate in Middleton, Manchester, and work with a young offenders’ group in Sheffield’s Manor Park.
The singer - who currently lives in a rented country mansion - and has previously been criticized for romanticizing the life of an addict, will film the series, to be shown on British network Channel 4, later this year. (more…)

FOUL-MOUTHED British chef Gordon Ramsay is planning to buy David Beckham a motorbike - so the LA Galaxy star can join him and Tom Cruise on a road trip.
Gordon, 41, and Tom, 45, both have motorbikes of their own - and reckon the soccer ace, 32, should get in on the act too after his wife, Victoria ‘Posh Spice’ Beckham, confided David was a big fan of big bikes.
A source close to the ‘Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares’ star said: “Gordon’s been riding for years.
“He was thrilled to discover Becks is a fan too. Gordon told Victoria he’d like to get David a bike for his 33rd birthday in May, then get him along on a road trip. (more…)
Daniel Craig given his own personal gym on the set of Quantum Of Solace

James Bond hunk Daniel Craig has reportedly been given his own gym on set of the new 007 flick Quantum Of Solace - so that he can keep in shape as he plays the suave British spy for a second time.
The gym includes rings, a trampoline and massage tables to soothe the 40-year-old’s aching body.
A source said: “Daniel is facing a long stint filming the new Bond in Pinewood Studios. Producers have allocated a sound-stage of his own to use as his personal gym. (more…)

ET confirms that less than a week after announcing she and husband MICHAEL LOCKWOOD are expecting their first child together, LISA MARIE PRESLEY is suing the British paper The Daily Mail for reporting that she was "piling on the pounds."
The singer says the story forced her to announce her pregnancy. "My client is deeply upset and offended by this article, especially as it was widely published just as she and her family were meant to be celebrating her happy news," her lawyer said.
Presley made her feelings known last week when she lashed out at the tabloids on her MySpace blog saying, "After being the target all week of slanderous and degrading stories, horribly manipulated pictures and articles in the media, I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant."
