REESE WITHERSPOON is just one of the many stars who’ve signed on to lend their voices to the new Dreamworks Animation movie ‘Monsters vs. Aliens,’ according to Variety.
Joining the Oscar winner will be KIEFER SUTHERLAND, ‘Knocked Up’ co-stars SETH ROGEN and PAUL RUDD, funnyman STEPHEN COLBERT, RAINN WILSON of "The Office" fame, WILL ARNETT ("Arrested Development") and "House"’s HUGH LAURIE.
The animated flick tells the story of a girl who grows to be 50 feet tall after being drenched in space gunk and is soon captured and held in a secret government compound — where she discovers that she’s not the only one being kept there.

"Gilligan’s Island" actress DAWN WELLS, who played good girl Mary Ann on the ’60s comedy, was arrested in Idaho for possesion of marijuana this past October. Wells was pulled over for speeding and cops smelled pot and found four partially smoked joints.
The drug charges were later dismissed. But the 69-year-old did plead guilty to reckless driving and was given six months probation.

According to Us Weekly an unspecified number of men were arrested today at actress KATE HUDSON’s New York City home. The men were shooting a movie and are still in police custody.
An armed intruder has been arrested at Kate Hudson’s New York City home. Police were called to the property on Tuesday afternoon after a woman spotted two men with what appeared to be a rifle on the roof of the actress’ home.
Celebrities only make the headlines when they are arrested, says Heroes star Hayden Panettiere.
The blonde - who campaigns for a number of causes and admires Angelina Jolie for her charity work, says: “You’ve got to have a DUI or get arrested in Los Angeles to have any headline not turn into last week’s news.”
Panettiere made her comments during an interview with Seventeen, a US magazine for teenage girls. The actress is on the cover of the April issue.

Kid Rock will return to the US waffle house where he was arrested last year - to raise money for charity.
The musician will sign autographs at the restaurant in the fund raising event.
Rock - who was formerly engaged to Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson - was arrested for battery with five members of his entourage at the brawl in October 2007 at the Duluth, Georgia restaurant. (more…)

It was family day at the Saturday afternoon premiere of ‘Horton Hears a Who!’ and our own KEVIN FRAZIER was on the red carpet for all the wacky fun!
JIM CARREY came with his daughter JANE and his girlfriend, JENNY McCARTHY, and her young son EVAN, while his co-stars in the film, STEVE CARELL, CAROL BURNETT, new mom JAIME PRESSLY and WILL ARNETT ("Arrested Development") also showed up for the action. JOEY FATONE and family, along with BROOKE SHIELDS and her two daughters, also took in the animated film.
In the movie, out March 14, Jim (who also took on the title character of the live-action ‘Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas’) plays Horton, an elephant who hears voices coming from a speck of dust. He soon discovers, to his amazement, that the land of Who-ville is located on the infinitesimal world and it’s up to him to protect the people who live there. After all, a person is a person, no matter how small!
Actor Patrick Stewart was terrified he’d get arrested after leaving a performance of William Shakespeare’s MacBeth with fake blood all over his hands.
