Pete DohertyRocker Pete Doherty is set to work with young heroin addicts for a new TV show, it has been revealed.

The ‘Babyshambles’ star, 28, will be paying a visit to some of North England’s toughest council estates where drugs really do destroy lives.

Drug-addled Pete - who has previously checked into rehab to battle his own drugs demons - will reportedly stay with families on the Langley Estate in Middleton, Manchester, and work with a young offenders’ group in Sheffield’s Manor Park.

The singer - who currently lives in a rented country mansion - and has previously been criticized for romanticizing the life of an addict, will film the series, to be shown on British network Channel 4, later this year. (more…)
