Mark RonsonMark Ronson has confessed to wearing his mother’s clothes when he was younger.

The producer - who has worked with the likes of Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse and Christina Aguilera, admits he used to raid his mom’s wardrobe looking for 70s-style flowery outfits.

He said: “When I was 14 I began playing in my first band, which had an early 70s Sly And The Family Stone-type funk influence, so I’d raid my mum’s wardrobe looking for flowery print shirts and psychedelic-looking overcoats.

“I even had my hair chopped in a bowl cut like The Stone Roses.”

That star, however, insists his cross-dressing was encouraged by his his writer mum, Ann Dexter-Jones. (more…)
