The pop star is transported from her home to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. A disoriented-looking Spears was spotted being shuttled into an ambulance while strapped on a gurney (footage of which is conveniently flooding the Net this morning). In the video, Spears is clearly seen laughing and talking to the ambulance attendants. “They had to strap her down like a mental patient and she was going between laughing and hysterics,” a source tells Us Weekly, calling it “a total psychotic breakdown. She just went crazy.” Federline and Spears’ father, Jaime, were spotted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where the singer is currently being held under a 72-hour mental lockdown. Federline took his sons home on Friday morning, reports People. According to TMZ, his lawyer, Mark Kaplan, will appear in court today to petition to strip Spears of her visitation rights.

The actress – seen drinking champagne – is “back on track,” says her lawyer. But the star’s lawyer has insisted the incident was just a minor slip. “There is no magic cure here. Unfortunately, Lindsay has to share her ‘one day at a time’ with the entire world,” Mr Berk said. The actress admitted to having a drink and drugs problem in August 2007 and spent time receiving treatment. She spent 84 minutes of a one-day term in jail last November after admitting to drink driving and possession of cocaine. The star was also put on three years probation and ordered to complete an 18 month alcohol education program.
